Kweli stay real man
Talib u are deep man u are deeper than aman 6 ft under. I jus saw ur video couple of days back and man it's bangin u have the endurance you are here to last man. Plz don't catch the virus that is killin many mc's right now of being influenced by the rappers who rap nonsense 2 us. The path that hip hop is taking is not conducive for the younger generation u hear rappers rappin abt things that u c in the movies they tryin 2 b hollywood stars. U hear rappers (not mentioning names)tellin us how many times they've been shot, they've been 2 jail, they carry guns, they smoke weed, they f**k bit***s, fu*k that we don't need what impact will that bring to our society, As an African ive done all of these coz it is perceived 2 b defualt for every African society but it's time 4 us 2 change that there's no need 2 b boastin abt all of that and how gangsta we are i'm well educated now I guess I can boast abt that 2 motivate the younger generation make them c life can b enriched despite our backgrounds and skin color. Hip Hop is powerful right now and it has the ability 2 communicate with kids more than their parents can so it should b used as an educational tool 2 uplift the young, teachin them abt where they come from hence givin them a positive mindset 4 them 2 decide where they goin.

Couldn't agree more with your comment. You know, guns money and girls are often depicted in a certain way, to portray a certain image, and it appeals to a certain audience.
I love the fact that in the HOT THING video, you didn't need to associate with those things. It's a HOT video without using those things that other artists do. The focus is on the music, even though it's a laid back track.
Times change, societal movements are inevitable, there aren't many that can resist the temptations of the mass. Keep it up! Loving it!
