Let's unite

Today we mark 57 years since the death of Robert Sobukwe, one of the freedom fighters who was in prison with Nelson Mandela. Robert Sobukwe was the founder of the PAC and the black consciousness movement. In jail he was put in a private room (where even visitors were not allowed) as he was percieved as being influencial as a result after some time of not talking to anyone his voice box was destroyed and he was unable to talk.

Our freedom (eventhough we are partially free) was fought for with tears and blood, therefore we need to cherish it.
So now that we partially free, we have to stop thinking that we are better than others because we have better opportunities than them. I say this because many people (black people in particular) from America and other well of countries see themselves as being superior than us because their economy is better than our economy, because we come from a third world country. This is the very reason why I hate JA RULE & 50 cent. JA Rule came to South Africa some time back & he did not want musicains from our country to share the stage with him and it obvious why he did not want to, it is because we are from a third world country. 50 cent also went to Nigeria some time back and he got into an argument with one of Nigeria's respected rapper and 50 cent was the one who started it, he even called the rapper a baboon (yet they are both black) 50 and his crew attacked this guy and they got what they wanted as they were trashed and returned to America instantly.

South African's are also not innocent in this regard, I'm from South Africa and South Africa's economy is one of Africa's successful economies, as a result South Africans see themselves as suprior than other African Nations. People from other African countries come to South Africa for opportunities that are limited within their own country and these people are called names and persecuted by black South Africans yet during the Struggle (pre 1994) freedom fighters from South Africa used to go and hide in other African countries e.g. Zimbabwe.

People we have to unite and help uplift each other we need to stop this black on black war. It is impossible for one person to change the whole world but an impact you make on one person's life is an accomplishment.
