Talib is the best MC and that is a fact and for him to feature Jean Grae (daughter of legendary South African Jazz artist "Abdullah Ibrahim") in his albums it makes me proud as a South African coz she's also from South Africa and African musicians are limited on the international market so thumbs up to Kweli (I was suppose to thank you on my first blog man). We have other dope rappers here in South Africa, rappers like Proverb, Tumi, Zubz to mention a few (I promise anyone from any country that if you love Kweli and you appreciate good music you will love these rappers) these guys are hot and they rap about relevant stuff so if u have a chance man plz hook these cats up man they deserve it.

Kweli is my best male rapper of all time and my home girl from South Africa (we all know who) is my best female rapper of all time. South African hip hop appreciates Blacksmith you'd be surprised. I'm with Khule on his comment on South African rappers that he mentioned. This cats are on fire and it would be a waste if these talents remain in South Africa without being noticed internationally. So my plea to you Talib is just to get hold of albums by Tumi, Proverb, Zubz, Amu, Mr. Selwyn, Skwatta Kamp, Morale, HHP (the list goes on). I promise you'd love what South African hip hop has to offer internationally.
